Last time I went to London for work I came across where the London Mets and London Capitals play in the Haringey borough (near Tottenham). Their field is nothing more than a neighborhood park with the only fences being the back stop. The outfield fence was a temporary solution.
A lot of the "major" BBF tournaments are played at Farnham Park (west of London) at the BBF HQ. The two fields there are like low-level high school stadiums in the US.
