It is weird that I have had success with this before, but now things I have done aren't working. Basically I like starting a historical league very early in time without the typical Cuba, Japan, Mexico, etc... players populating the original players and future free agents.

I have set all of the world's countries to non-existent baseball quality and default player creation to 35% USA and 65% random. I still get a tremendous amount of Cubans, Canadians, Dominicans....the usual.

I know I have made this work in the past (haven't played in awhile) so I am not sure what I am doing wrong this time.

I even successfully set up a World Baseball Academy for 13-16 yr olds from mostly random nations.

Anyone do anything similar or have ideas? The only reason it's frustrating is because I have done it before

p.s. I wanted to add the original reason I got into this was not to have the same old countries in international tournaments and to see which obscure countries could flourish.
