Bob Uecker 1962 (in 1967)
My late friend's return to the Braves in 1967 is surprisingly poorly recorded in images.
Topps did not shoot him. Brace got him in color in Chicago, there is a portrait and a group shot with some friends of his, but he apparently objected to the re-sale and they seldom pop up. I believe there is a publicity shot of Bob from early in Spring Training 1968 (in the '68 pinstripes) when he was still supposed to be a coach and bullpen catcher (and then got fired after an altercation of some kind, inadvertently leading to a different role as a member of Atlanta's Speakers' Bureau, and fame and fortune).
But this is the first team-issued shot of Bob from 1967 that I've ever seen.
