Sorry for taking so long to respond! I can understand how tricky it is to come up with "THE logo™" for the Munis - I've wrestled with this myself!

So in my league, I've got a crosstown rivalry between a Chicago Packers club and the Chicago Munis. The cultural aspect of this rivalry revolves around the Chicago Packers pioneering corporate sponsorship, so they learned how to become awash in cash from an early stage - they're very much big-money "people with fancy cars" team. On the other hand, the Chicago Munis are more "the team for people who have to ride the bus."

Of the three logos you posted, I think the middle one hits the mark the best. This has that general air of being formal, official, something you'd expect to see when riding a city bus, and that's the general ethos I'm trying to capture with the Munis' branding.

The styling on the other two have elements that remind me of different auto manufacturer logos - a script-like logo a la Ford, with the mid section looking like a rotated Mercedes-Benz logo. I point this out because this visual theme might be something worth thinking about for a Detroit team, without being too on-the-nose about auto manufacturing.

Thank you so much for your help here, I deeply appreciate this as I've really struggled at developing graphic design skills.
