September 1st, 2021
It was a good day for the Houston Astros and an exceptional one for Richard Oseguera(31, 2.5*). The 31-year-old catcher sent three bombs out of the park to help the Astros beat the Detroit Trains, 13-3, at Comerica Park.

"When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Oseguera said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day."

For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 8 runs and smacked 3 hits in 5 at-bats.

Richard Oseguera struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Tristan Belk in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Andy Garcia in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Joel Hernandez in the 9th.

Oseguera is currently hitting at a .236 pace with 14 home runs, 31 RBIs, .965OPS and 1.4WAR in 35 games.

Aaron Hilton(30, 3*), left fielder for the San José Killer Whales, gave it a good try, but his time chasing history came to an end when he went hitless in 5 tries against the Jacksonville Patriots. Not only did the Patriots break his 26-game hitting streak, they also beat San José by the score of 1-0.

"Now that the streak has ended, I can admit I'll breathe a bit easier the next time I step up to bat," Hilton said, speaking with the media after the game. "It was tough because I put a little pressure on myself. Now that it's over, I will definitely be a little bit looser at the plate."

This season, Hilton has banged out 130 hits in 409 at-bats for a .318 average with 4 home runs. He is getting on base at a .356 pace and his totals also include 32 RBIs and 57 runs scored good for 2.7WAR.
