David Rodgers, but persevered to claim a win at Olympic Stadium. The final score was 2-1.
Rodgers went 6.2 innings and allowed no runs. The winner was
Glen McKeen in relief. His record improves to 3-1.
Romano Albertoni took the loss. The last-place
Expos have won 5 straight games.
Montreal took a 2-1 lead on
Karl Ferguson's 17th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which

Montreal center fielder
Brian Schill was a significant contributor in his team's 5-4 triumph over the Toronto
Blue Jays. He was 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the
Expos.
Montreal reliever
Ryan Rasbach was the winner. His record is now 6-5.
Ron Palovich took the loss.
The
Expos got a clutch hit from shortstop
David Quiros. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the
