Diamondbacks victory,
Lemus penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts.
"He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter,"
Las Vegas manager Josh Moore said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well."
Along with his three home runs, the 23-year-old had 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 8 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off,"
Lemus said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today."
