I'm going to give a fictional solo sim a try after bowing out of my last online league recently. I have created the EBA, starting in 2021.

The EBA, launching in 2021

New league, tribute to older style baseball, the goal is to have a bit less analytics style baseball, and the 3 true outcomes are pitching up and in, a triple to the gap, and a strike’im out, throw’im out double play.
Initial set up is 2021 finances and settings, but the league will evolve toward a salary capped, flat revenue model and some stats modifiers to achieve fewer HRs and Ks and more doubles and flyouts.

The Eastern Baseball Alliance is a league of 16 teams located in the eastern US, divided into two conferences, each of which has a north and south division. Playoffs will be division winners and 2 wild cards from each conference.

Initial configuration, spring 2021 standings and pre-branding.

I have taken on the Orlando Jokers. After picking the team from the initial set up screen, somehow the game gave me the highest payroll roster in the league and a suspiciously thin farm.

(Editor's note: I have branded most and re-branded a couple of the teams after having some time to spend with the cephasjames logo set, for which I am eternally grateful from many years of abandoned solo sims.)
