Sensational image of Clarence Mitchell, greatly appreciated.
Attached is a 1924 image of Frank Brower with the Cleveland Indians.
1924 turned out to be his final Major League season as First-Base back up to George (Tioga) Burns. The previous season he was the Indians starting First-Baseman, slugging .509 with an OPS of .901.
1923 was Brower's first season with the Indians previously having a 3 year stint with the Senators debuting in 1920. With Joe Judge entrenched at First, Brower was the starting right-fielder with the Senators in 1922. Brower took over from 35 year old star stolen base speedster Clyde Milan in 1922.
