I’ll mention this since it is easy and a check-the-box “yes, I tried that already” item and that is to go to the Settings on the title start screen, when the pop up comes up, go to troubleshooting and then look for a button that says “Force reinstallation” or “force verify all files” (Steam language). Words to that effect. Maybe it can reinstall the database if it got corrupted somehow.
