This is a 1924 image of Frank Bruggy with the Philadelphia Athletics.
Buggy was a right-handed catcher whose Major League career spanned 5 seasons. His initial season with the Phillies in 1921 was undoubtedly his most productive. He took over as the starting catcher and appeared in a career high 96 games. He batted at .310 from his eighth position in the batting order. He moved across town to the Athletics where he appeared in 50 plus games for the next 3 seasons as back-up to Cy Perkins. He finished his Major League career in 1925 with the Cincinnati Reds, appearing in just 6 games.
