By default, the Negro Leagues will still function as they have in the past, where to enable the full Negro Leagues you enable to enable the historical minor leagues. But with adding these equivalency lines, we've also been able to add in effectively a few alternate setups.
One option is that in the regular historical game, we can import the Negro Leagues players to a regular historical league, and they will appear as free agents. So you could play a 1921 game and sign Oscar Charleston.
Similar to that, we can pull them in to a random debut game now, and they can appear alongside anyone else in that. Both modes are obviously optional.

Sometimes I like to delete a past player and import them into current day just for fun. A few years ago, when I would do this with NeL players, they would end up with terrible ratings. Is that still happening? For example, if I delete Chipper Jones and import him into my 2025 draft class, he is a stud. But if I delete Oscar Charleston and add him, then he would suck. I am not sure what changed a few years ago that caused this.
Basically, I just want to know how it will work this year.
