First year using Steam. Playing on Mac. Installed the game today, and when I tried to import my Save from OOTP25, I could not get to the backup file directly through the game. So, I found my backup folder and copied it to my desktop. Then I could find the backup folder, and I imported. There was a question about downloading new files and I said yes.
So, here is the issue. The day after my season ended, I changed my team name, stadium, uniforms from the Pittsburgh Pirates to the Tennessee Smokies. But I left the history, so if you looked at it, the Pirate history shows. It even showed up when I looked at the end of the season stats as the Smokies. However, when I imported into 26, it now shows up as the Pirates. Everything else seems good, except I have reverted back to being the Pirates and playing in the Pirates ballpark, with the Pirates uniform. The only other thing that seems to be missing was a pending offer for a new coach. Is there anything I can do to get my team reverted back to the Tennessee Smokies? Or do I have to make all those changes again? I don't even know where to find the Steam files location at this point
