I am using a MAC with the most up-to-date OS. I had this same issue in previous versions on a different MAC.
The game doesn't remember my "game day" settings, such as no-bullpen, show stats instead of ratings, etc. It also doesn't remember that I've opted out of the opening screen prompt. Lastly, it doesn't remember that I have an ongoing save. I even tried to save my game as a quickstart, but it doesn't remember that as well.
