I don't think I actually had an addiction, or I wouldn't have been able to quit so easily. That's just my opinion.
I lived at home with zero bills, it was easy. I also think that's part of the reason I won more often than lost, I wasn't stressed.
There was another contributing factor that I quit big money gambling besides me having bills. Winning was much less exciting than losing hurt. I could win 5000 dollars in a month, the second I lost 300, I felt terrible.
