First back-to-back Opening Day losses since 1999-2000, and before that 1962-1969. But at least they weren't shut out for the first time since 1963. Got pretty close though. Clay Holmes was modestly woeful, and the Mets offense was woefully modest.

Star of the Day would go to Huascar Brazobán, who was not supposed to be on the roster, but thankfully Blackburn fell over just in time for Big Brazz to throw seven outs in garbage relief. Probably on the bus to Syracuse tomorrow!
