The St. Louis Cardinals have placed shortstop Masyn Winn on the 10-day injured list after he suffered a strained oblique in a collision at second base during a 3-2 spring training win over the Philadelphia Phillies on March 12.
The 22-year-old Winn had played in 18 games this spring hitting .118 with one RBI.
