After Jake Morrow and Carter Trice were retired, Bowen came through in clutch with a 2-run single to make it 4-1. Gumm followed with a 421 foot home run to RF to break the game open.
The Mariners got a run back in the 4th, but Flores pitched 5 solid innings while striking out 10. Amezola tripled to lead off the bottom of the 5th and scored on Morrow's RBI single.
