Astros Win at Home, 4-2

Houston pitcher Stuart Behan did his part in helping his team beat the Montreal Expos, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. He worked 6.1 innings of 1-run ball. The win gives Houston a season record of 39-31.

An inflection point occurred with one out in the bottom of the second. That's when Astros catcher Chris Blain hit a fastball from Juan Miranda for a 2-run single. Just like that, Houston was up, 2-1.

"We took home the win," said Blain. "What's not to like?" For him, it was a special game as it was his NMLB debut after getting selected in the 7th round of the 2014 draft and lingered between AA and AAA for years.

I managed the last two games of the Houston Astros series myself. We suck. If its not the pitching exploding in our face, it is the hitters that carry an empty batting average and OBP around them… frustrating.
