Well to update here's what I've done so far.
Started vanilla 1998 historical sim.
Put it in commissioner mode and changed draft date to June 15 and turned off automatic evolution.
Simmed a couple months at a time and documented stuff.
Simmed through playoffs while documenting.
Simmed to preseason whike documenting.
Created a backup here!
Went into league settings and figured out all the minor league systems.
I already have to change my plan a little. There are only 28 AA teams -- Tampa and Colorado don't have AA in their first year I guess. There's also 62 teams in RK or DE leagues. So I'm pushing everything back by a year and actually starting with a 62 team B league.
I still need to make divisions and change the names of teams that are just something like AZL Dodgers, but I think I'm going to start by just using the pre-existing leagues (Pioneer, AZL, GCL, etc) as the divisions. But I'm excited to be starting this.
