P.P.S.: Today's managers are bozos. Okay, Fried was done. Luke Weaver pitched a good eighth inning, so why not leave HIM in for the ninth? But no. We have to scientifically manage; bring in the closer in a non-close situation to "fine-tune" him or something because he hadn't pitched in a few days. And we saw the result. If I am the manager, I play to win the game each and every day. I don't abuse pitchers but I certainly don't baby and micro-manage them. They are young men, dedicated and highly-paid. They ought to be able to stretch and keep themselves ready. Okay, sorry to take up thread space with this, but it had to come out.
