Not sure how they do this in the Domenican..but when I played (and coached) you didn't have kids ten years old playing against 16 year olds.
This must have embarrassed Pujols, as he then started denying he said it...he KNEW it was the smoking gun about lying about his age.

My guess is, third world countries don’t keep good records, when they come here, they can fudge the age of their kids in order to do well in little league, travel ball etc and get better deals when they go pro. I’m still convinced Soto lied about his age.
