Today we learned that Tom Seaver had a pitch count (135), that the cable cam for Citi Field is in the talks, and that the West Sacramento park was supposed to play small, but Juan Soto has still cost $765M per Mets home run.
Pete has gone 0-for-8 since I jubilated about his NL rankings, which will teach me to ever feel joy again.
Anyway, Mets win handily after five innings of chronic indigestion, taking an 8-run dump on the Pathetics' pen.
