Expos Keep Run Going With 7-5 Win in Chicago
The
Montreal Expos beat the
Chicago Rangers, 7-5.
Montreal pitcher and Rochester, Minnesota, native
Austin Roy led the way.

Expos Win Game 9-3, Lose V-Rod
The
Montreal Expos locked up a win at Bolts Grounds, knocking off the
Memphis Bolts, 9-3. On the mound for
Montreal was right-hander
Austin Roy. He played a major role in the triumph. The
Expos, at 51-58, sit in third place in the Eastern League North East Division.
"
Austin gave us everything he had," said
Montreal manager Aaron McCreery. He worked six innings of 1-run ball and collected his 7th win.
Montreal won the game in part because of
Tim McKusick. The designated hitter ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the
Expos ahead, 1-0. For the game,
McKusick had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
The bad news however, were on center fielder
Vicente Rodriguez. On a groundball off the bad of
Dave Grochowski,
Rodriguez collided with
Memphis second baseman
Carlos Chavez and had to be taken out of the ballgame. He was diagnosed with a
hamstring strain and will be out for
4 weeks.

Adam O’Herron(L, 3-4 4.43) tomorrow.
