What I'm trying to say is prior to 25, thru OOTP 24, these exhibitions would play much more believable if you took two different teams from completely different eras. The 1910 Giants would strike out much more against a modern team, but still hit very few homers. Emphasis on few homers: I find that believable. If a team from 1910 faced a team from 2022, I doubt they'd hardly hit any. However, realistically I think a modern team would hit a few off a Deadball team. Which is the way it was thru OOTP 24, with game era and strategy set to default modern era.

However, with OOTP 25 and now 26, with settings on default modern era, Deadball players are hitting plenty of homers. There is a big difference between 24 and the next two versions of OOTP.

I found players' K totals, homer totals, and just general stat totals in tournaments involving a number of teams from different eras for more realistic prior to 25. If there are any suggestions for adjusting modifiers so a team from 1910 can hit like a team from 1910 while facing a modern team, I greatly appreciate it.

"OOTP is trying to rate players so that they will be balanced for whatever environment they are placed within"... that's what I'd like, but I doubt a player like 1910 Larry Doyle would hit homers at a rate of 40 per 550 ABs against modern pitching.
Just curious, what are the other options one can use other than default modern era?
