Montreal catcher
Gabriel Cervantes had the hot bat. He went 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The
Expos, at 59-65, inhabit third place in the Eastern League North East Division.
Dave Grochowski was 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for
Montreal. The 24-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-run single off

Robby Weltzer in the bottom of the 15th when he hit a run-scoring double off 27-year old right-handed pitcher

Montreal. The home crowd went nuts.

Fans watched the

Sam Griffin, who is tied for 4th in the EL in complete games with 2, was locked in. The right-hander led the
Montreal Expos to a 3-2 win against the
Philadelphia Grizzlies at Olympic Stadium. He worked 5.1 innings of 1-run ball and got the W. The
Montreal win streak is now 3 games.
Bobby Martinez had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for
Montreal. He came through with a run-scoring single to put
Montreal in front, 3-1. The young center fielder is batting .258-3-8 .749OPS 3/4SB 0.6WAR in 17 games.
