Jose Alvarado (SV 21) worked the final out of the game to record the save. At the plate, Brandon Marsh (2 for 3, Double, RBI) and J.T. Realmuto (1 for 3, Run) played well in victory.

Garrett Whitlock (3-5) was tagged with the loss despite allowing just 1 earned run on 5 hits and 1 walk while striking out 11 in 7 2/3 innings of play; Game Score 75. Nick Pivetta worked 1/3 of an inning in scoreless fashion before Liam Hendriks tossed a scoreless / hitless final inning.
