16-11 in June and our lead is now 7 1/2. We did lose Andy Hawkins this week to a 6-week injury, so we will see how this will affect our July.
Von Hayes picked up his 2000th career hit as did Lou Whitaker and Brett Butler while Gary Carter got hit #2500. Gary Redus made it to 2000 hits earlier this season and Hayes and Chili Davis each stole base #500. Lots of milestones so far this year.
The AL has the 6 top scoring teams in the league and 4 of the 6 lowest scoring teams, there are only 5 teams over .500 while the NL has a more balance
