1B Bryan Reynolds placed on the 60 day IL with a broken kneecap. He’s expected to miss 4-5 months, possibly out for the rest of the season. He was slashing .285/.394/.435 with 7 HR, 28 RBI, and 34 SB.
Pittsburgh and Minnesota have come to a trade agreement. Pirates send 29yo minor league RF Josh Palacios and 23yo minor league 2B Nick Yorke in exchange for 33yo RHP Brock Stewart.
