My league is in 1974. I am using LTMs from running auto-calc on a 1974 replay league. That gives me the correct environment for 1974. (Background in
THIS THREAD and
ANOTHER THREAD) With better pitching talent scoring is down.
Some people might say adjust the LTMs but the pitching talent in this league is better than historic. Output is right for the talent.
However the talent is not realistic because so many career minor league pitchers are rated higher than historic pitchers. I can see 10% but how could so many real life scouts be wrong that we're over 30%? So instead I'm going to cut down the number of career minor league pitchers in MLB.
I'm considering allowing a total of two per team with a max of one SP. Another considering is to put a limit based on the ratings, perhaps 6 stars of career minor league pitchers per team. But maybe 6.5 or 7. Don't know.
I'm in July so I have some time to obtain and consider suggestions.

THIS must be a great idea. My consistent detractors didn't show up en masse to argue against it. They didn't show up
HERE either.
