EC,
Do you plan to potentially rebrand certain teams for your IPA before the next season? If so, I'd suggest, for instance, that Glasco perhaps be rebranded as the Celtics, seeing as they've not yet somehow actually won a Pro Cup as either the Athletics or the Foxhounds, if I remember correctly.
As for perhaps picking up after you, I'm still not past OOTP 22, which might make that sort of thing hard for me to do here, in the near future. I've got the needed information for OOTP 23 and 24, but I'm likely saving those versions for my next computer, for various reasons, if I'm not too mistaken here, including hard drive space concerns.
I'm not sure how many of the graphics there are on these forums that are sufficiently related to your IPA teams I have available for possible use now, though, whether I've made them or not, to be honest. But I'm sure I still have many graphics related to many of those teams, if not all of them, in any case, which are still in pre-23-style format.
I might get back into doing more graphics around here, soon, but right now, I'm mainly doing a rather good deal of writing, with or without considerable AI assistance, for at least one story hinted at in my signature at present. Also, I've been visiting a library or libraries quite often, and even learning more of several languages, including German now, along with me shooting hoops periodically. I've been shooting hoops often of late, when I can, and I'm even able to periodically sink left-handed shots, even though I'm mostly right-handed, at varying distances, at that.
Getting some sufficiently usable AI-generated team and/or league-related logos isn't always easy, of course, for obvious reasons, though. At least with the sites I know of well enough that I can visit and all, that is.
I'm so not a fan of sponsorship badges and all on uniforms, like on MLB and NBA and NHL and soccer uniforms, either, for instance. They should be quickly dumped, in my humble opinion, if and whenever possible. Same with most corporate names on many MLB or NFL or NBA or NHL or other leagues' venues, for that matter. Like you, EC, I generally prefer a more traditional approach for many uniforms in the Big 4 sports here in North America, if and whenever possible, and/or team names. At least as far as being sponsor-covered, anyway, that is. And away with the manufacturers' marks as well, if and whenever possible, for sure, because they're too distracting, many times, on various uniforms, I think.
Others may disagree with my thoughts here, of course, but I'd rather see cleaner uniforms, even if their used patterns are uncommon or use rarely-used colors at times for them. There are some good-looking soccer uniforms, I admit, when they're not too bizarre or covered with the same sponsors, for instance, for multiple teams.
As for alternate names that the minor and independent league teams often use with certain promotions for themselves, some of them are good ones, of course, while others should be forgotten entirely, I think. I can't think of any at present, in either case, but I'm sure that there are many in either case, just the same. And the Gold Diggers alternate nickname was not a bad one that a team in California was recently considering using, but the used imagery could have perhaps somehow used somewhat better work for it, whether it was an inappropriate nickname or not in truth, in the current social climate and all, in my humble view.
I'll probably write much more later, I'm sure, EC and/or others. But for now, at least, I suppose that I'd best get back to writing much more for my own current story or stories, and also keep quite a lot of people in prayer and all, including my Dad and Mom and me and certain others around me, of course, including my brother-in-law's mother, for instance, who seems to be having some health and/or age-related issues as well, for that matter. Please take care, and all, I hope, everyone. Ciao, adios, adieu, auf wiedersehn, shalom, and I'll hopefully see you all again sometime later. CD out.
