The Tobacco State League: A Summer With the Red Springs Red Robins
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Red Springs Baseball Club Announces Entry into the Tobacco State League
Red Springs, NC – The ownership group of the Red Springs Baseball Club is proud to announce that the team has formally accepted an invitation to join the Tobacco State League for the upcoming 2025 season.
Baseball has long been a part of Red Springs’ identity, with the town capturing back-to-back league titles in 1948 and 1949 during the original era of Tobacco State League play. Building on that proud tradition, the new franchise will compete under the nickname “Red Robins”, a nod to both local heritage and regional spirit.
Home games will be played at the newly refurbished Robbins Stadium, with seating and standing-room accommodations for more than 5,000 fans on game nights. The club is committed to offering an exciting, affordable experience for families and fans across Robeson County and beyond.
Additional announcements regarding the team’s manager, player signings and ticket availability will be made in the coming days.
We invite you to make the Red Springs Red Robins a part of your summer tradition. Go Robins!
