Game One -- Bitola takes an early 1-0 lead, before giving up a zip code in the middle innings (51422 - Tejupilco, MX). Zagreb wins 14-1 and with 4 RBI, OF Rudko Erkocevic 🇭🇷 is named player of the game.

Game Two -- In a much closer Game Two, Zagreb gets a huge start from LHP Momcilo Kralj 🇭🇷, winning 2-1 to take a 2-0 series lead.

Game Three -- Whatever formula worked for Bitola's pitching staff in Game Two, it doesn't carry over to Game Three. The Konzuli's first two pitchers get shelled, and they fall behind 3-0 in the series. C Dejan Kandic's 🇭🇷 2nd and 3rd inning homers provide critical blows in the Zmajevi's 11-7 victory.

Game Four -- Zagreb finishes off the sweep, with series MVP 2B Momsilo Brkic's 🇭🇷 4th inning grand slam giving the Zmajevi a Game Four lead that never falls into doubt. OF Punisa Mitevic 🇭🇷 gets to celebrate too, despite becoming the first BKL player to get a platinum sombrero in a 9-inning game.

Congrats to the nation of Croatia and the Zagreb Zmajevi, the inaugural Balkan Series champions!

We haven't talked much about these two teams this season, so let's talk about them. Cebu City led the league this year in both runs scored and runs against, so while Manila has home field advantage, they are no Goliath in this matchup. The difference in record mostly stems from Manila's stellar numbers in one-run games (11-5) and Cebu City's horrendous ones (3-11).

Cebu City reverses that trend in the Filipino Championship Series, winning two one-run games, but they are the only wins they get, as Manila stuns them out the gate taking a 3-0 lead, then finishes it off in Game Six to advance to their first Filip-Indo Series since 2057 (swept by Surabaya). Katipuneros C Romel Barroga 🇵🇭 wins series MVP.
