Curry College was known as the Plymouth University Pioneers when they first entered the CCBL. However, a vault discovery on campus revealed paraphernalia and other markings of what the campus was called pre-War. They decided unanimously to return to their roots and change the team name to the Curry College Colonels. It seems to have paid off with a title.
