Player development remains a major flaw in this game - rendering it borderline unplayable. The game has felt glitchy ever since the development lab and 1-550 ratings got implemented. Player development was a non-issue until these things were introduced. I implore the devs to look into this. The gameplay experience has been fundamentally different (not in a good way) as a result.

I've held off starting a new 2025 Cubs save for over a month because I kept reading about problems with development. Past versions, problems appeared upon launch and were fixed within a month or two.
Now we get the latest patch, but no mention about player development.
I'm going to start my save because I don't want to wait any longer.
Obviously, problems with development have been reported here and
here. The lack of in-depth response from the OOTP team about the development issue is disappointing, but not surprising considering the complexity of this wonderful product and the limited financial and personnel resources available.
That said, if there is an expectation for OOTP 27, it would be beneficial for all parties involved to address reasonable concerns raised by users.
