Well, since that isn't his Historical Minors ID, I'm glad no one was seeing that dead file in the pack. But what to do when pictures are limited? I resorted to some AI assistance and photoshop to colorize it. Would his teammates or mother recognize the 26-year-oild outfielder? Who knows? Best I could do for the 35-game Brooklyn outfielder.
Happy Smith was one of several players tried in right field by the Brooklyn Superbas in 1910. Young Zack Wheat owned left field, while Smith was one of four players who played at least 10 games in right field. Smith fielded well, but while his batting average was higher than the team average, he showed little power. - BBR Bullpen
