The worst month of the season for the Royals who can only go .500 on the road to keep that losing record – something that may need addressing in July.
Generally a good month for the Royals hitters, although they need to make some decisions at SS with neither Zimmerman nor Montelongo hitting well.
Ethan Chafin is struggling so far this season, while C.J. Binkle was not the only reliever to struggle over the course of the month. Reinforcements might be needed for this Royals pitching staff, despite leading the AL in multiple pitching statistics.

It was a very quiet month for the Royals although it could have finished in a bad way with Bobby Nickelberry once again being hit by a pitch; he is still waiting for a diagnosis three days later which doesn’t bode well.

Minor League News
It was a good month for Omaha Storm Chasers left fielder Ken Crome, June's International League Batter of the Month.
Crome starred by hitting .333 with a .416 on-base percentage. He totaled 32 hits in 96 at-bats, 14 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 22 runs.
Currently Crome is batting .343 with 14 home runs and 30 RBIs.
