Game 1: Lexington 4, Easy Town 2
Association Championship Series Game 1 Victory for Kim and Lexington
The Lexington Synths started the Association Championship Series in style, downing the visiting Easy Town Assaultrons at Super Duper Mart Stadium by a score of 4-2 to stake an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Synths left-hander Hunter Kim threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball.
Kim gave Lexington a solid start. The left-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 7.1 innings.
"Hunter was throwing free and easy," said Lexington manager Brandon Salinas.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Super Duper Mart Stadium in Lexington.
Game 2: Lexington 5, Easy Town 3
Lexington Pins 5-3 Loss on Easy Town
The Lexington Synths got a strong performance from pitcher Admiral Kelm, who stymied the visiting Easy Town Assaultrons en route to a win, 5-3, in Game 2 of the Association Championship Series. The Assaultrons could never get a bead on the right-handed Kelm, who threw 6.1 innings allowing 3 runs. The Synths now hold a 2-0 in the best-of-7 series.
The Synths had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 5-3, Lexington, with one out. Easy Town, with a runner on 1st, was mounting a threat. Topher Spark dug in at the plate, but on a 2-2 fastball, he hit into a double play.
Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday at Easy Town Field in Easy Town.
Game 3: Lexington 9, Easy Town 6
Blitzed by Whitetiger, Synths, Assaultrons Sink Further in ACS
Riding the 4-hit performance of third baseman Tommy Whitetiger, the Lexington Synths got a road win against the Easy Town Assaultrons, 9-6, in Game 3 of the Association Championship Series. Whitetiger went 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Synths, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 0.
The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Whitetiger hit a 2-run home run off Lonely Gale. It propelled the Synths into the lead, 2-0.
"It was a good day but I'm not letting my guard down," Whitetiger said. "I'll let my guard down as soon as someone puts a big, fat championship ring on my finger."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Easy Town Field in Easy Town.
Game 4: Lexington 9, Easy Town 2
Synths Win Association Championship Series
The Lexington Synths had all facets of their game going and have swept the Easy Town Assaultrons in the Association Championship Series.
Lexington now heads off to the Sole Survivor Series, after wrapping up the series with a 9-2 win.
Tommy Whitetiger was named MVP, as he put up a .562 batting average, with a .611 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 5 runs.
Whitetiger and teammate Packs Ton Kling each went 3 for 5 in the final game. Whitetiger had a triple and home run, scored twice, and drove in a run. Kling was the Game MVP, homering twice, scoring twice, and knocking in two runs.
The Lexington Synths don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Vault 81 Dwellers - University Point Deathclaws series. Vault 81 leads the series 3 games to 2. The Sole Survivor Series schedule will be announced after the Association Championship Series finishes.

Game 1: Vault 81 6, University Point 4
Association Championship Series Game 1 Victory for Million and Vault 81
The Vault 81 Dwellers started the Association Championship Series in style, downing the visiting University Point Deathclaws at CURIE Inc. Field by a score of 6-4 to stake an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Dwellers right-hander Zack Million threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball.
Million allowed 2 runs over 8 innings. He also racked up 6 strikeouts.
"Zack was pretty good at keeping their guys off-balance," said Vault 81 manager Drac Jaskula.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at CURIE Inc. Field in Boston.
Game 2: University Point 8, Vault 81 6
University Point Win Evens Series at 1
When the games really matter, the University Point Deathclaws put on their best show, beating the Vault 81 Dwellers by a final score of 8-6. Stu Gains went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 4 runs. The series now sits at 1-1 in the best-of-7 affair.
Barker Cocoa, who finished 3rd in the SCA in batting average with .353 in 2304, helped out the University Point cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman was 1-5.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said University Point manager Mark Sellsword.
Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday at Hallucigen Stadium at UP in Boston.
Game 3: Vault 81 6, University Point 5
Sefilian Blasts Deathclaws, Dwellers Take Game 3, 6-5
Riding the 2-hit performance of second baseman Arty Sefilian, the Vault 81 Dwellers got a road win against the University Point Deathclaws, 6-5, in Game 3 of the Association Championship Series. Sefilian went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Dwellers, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.
The game was at a stalemate until shortstop End Yamada came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing University Point pitcher Swampy Tamragouri, he hit a 2-2 cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Vault 81 on top, 5-4.
"We're feeling good about this," said Dwellers manager Drac Jaskula. "We have got an advantage now and we just need to keep the pressure on."

Game 4: University Point 9, Vault 81 5
Raucous Hallucigen Stadium at UP Crowd Propels Deathclaws to 9-5 Victory; Series Tied at 2
Leave it to the veteran.
The University Point Deathclaws got a great start from 37-year-old right-hander Digger Vadim, as University Point won the contest, 9-5, at Hallucigen Stadium at UP. Vadim threw 7.2 innings allowing 2 runs in the win, which knotted the best-of-7 series at 2-2.
An inflection point occurred with two out in the bottom of the second. That's when Deathclaws second baseman Emerald Sapphire hit a curveball from Zack Million for a 2-run single. Just like that, University Point was up, 3-2.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Vadim.

Game 5: Vault 81 6, University Point 2
Road Win Lifts Vault 81 to 3-2 Lead in ACS
Game 5 was big. So was Scruffy Taguchi.
The Vault 81 starter rose to the occasion at Hallucigen Stadium at UP, leading the Dwellers to a crucial 6-2 victory over the University Point Deathclaws. Taguchi threw 8.2 innings of 7-hit ball as the Dwellers won on the road to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 Association Championship Series.
Vault 81 used the hitting of Joe Rathmann to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put the Dwellers on top, 3-1. For the game, Rathmann had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"Scruffy pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said Vault 81 manager Drac Jaskula.
Game 6 is scheduled for Wednesday at CURIE Inc. Field in Boston.
Game 6: Vault 81 4, University Point 2
Dwellers Advance to Sole Survivor Series
The Vault 81 Dwellers "proved we can handle pressure" by beating the Association Championship Series and eliminating the University Point Deathclaws, according to series MVP Arty Sefilian.
"This is the big stage, we're off to the Sole Survivor Series and looking towards the Sole Survivor Series," he said. "There's a lot of pressure at this time of year and it's only going to get more intense from here. But I think we can handle it just fine."
Vault 81 won the final game 4-2, to wrap up the series 4-2. Exxie Summerset was named Game MVP, allowing two earned runs on three hits with nine strikeouts in 6.0 innings pitched. Summerset also was 1 for 2 with an RBI. Dyamnite Delaney got the save.
Sefilian led his team to the series win by putting up a .423 average, with a .423 on-base percentage. He had a home run, drove in 6 RBI, and scored 3 runs. Sefilian was hitless against University Point in the regular season in eight at-bats.
The Vault 81 Dwellers will play against the Lexington Synths in the next round. Lexington won their series against the Easy Town Assaultrons 4 games to 0. The Sole Survivor Series schedule will be announced after the Association Championship Series finishes.
