Dwellers Even With Synths After Home Win
The Vault 81 Dwellers and the Lexington Synths will take the Sole Survivor Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Dwellers beat the Synths, 5-2, at CURIE Inc. Field to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Vault 81 right-hander Exxie Summerset had a big role in the win. He threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball.
Pockets Wrench, who finished 5th in the SCA in home runs with 28 in 2315, helped out the Vault 81 cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 2 with a walk and was hit by a pitch.
Vault 81 manager Drac Jaskula commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at CURIE Inc. Field in Boston.

Vault 81 Beats Lexington in Sole Survivor Series
The Vault 81 Dwellers were good enough to get past the Lexington Synths at CURIE Inc. Field today and secure the 1st championship in franchise history.
"When you wear Dwellers on your shirt, you're good at something," Vault 81 skipper Drac Jaskula told the press.
Dwellers first baseman Pockets Wrench was named MVP of the series after he went .407 with 2 home runs and 6 runs batted in.
"It feels totally incredible," Wrench said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment."
The new champions capped off a great season with a 4-1 victory over the Synths to win the Sole Survivor Series 4-3. Zack Million was the Game MVP, holding the Synths to just one run in 8.0 innings of six-hit ball. He walked three and struck out eight.
