KC Top Prospects
David de Anda will start in a utility IF role but the number 4 prospect will be hoping to turn that into an every day role over the course of the season. The two OF, Rodolfo Lara and David Rojo, will be expecting to start hot in AA, cruise through AAA and be fighting for a September call up later in the season. Dusty Bartosik can consider himself unlucky not to be in the opening day starting rotation but injuries are a fact of baseball and a strong start to the Omaha season will go him a shot at a call up during the season.
MLB Top Prospects
The Nationals are debuting two top rookies this year in SS Ken Whitener and RHP Eytor Incio. Along with David de Anda, they will expect to be in the conversation for Rookie of the Year awards with the majority of the rest of the top 15 at least a couple of years from the Major Leagues.
MLB Farm Systems
The National leapfrog the Diamondbacks to have the second best farm in baseball behind the Royals. The Royals have four of the top twenty prospects to give them a healthy advantage of the top of the rankings with the Cubs the only other team with more than 100 points worth of prospects.
