Owner Goals

Team Record:
Our fans are getting nervous. With half the season over, we're not looking like a top team. Squeeze every drop you can out of our team and get it done.

Extend your player:
I would appreciate it if you would actually listen to me when I tell you to re-sign a player. I feel like sometimes we don't show the proper loyalty to our players. If we kept our veterans like Dusty Glick around, I think we would have more respect around the rest of the league.

Acquire a player:
I love it when you put in effort to satisfy the goals I set out for you. That's why it's so disappointing to see you completely ignoring my request to acquire a Power hitter. Make an effort to reach this goal, or the next thing you may need to do is update your CV.

During our time working together, I have been good with your progress towards the goals I have set out for you. Considering your current and past successes, I am happy with your overall performance. It's important to have success on-field and in the boardroom, and you seem to be on that path.

2050 Draft

Following Colin Stewart’s decision to announce his departure from the Royals before the start of the season, the Royals allowed Scouting Director Dalfis Ortiz to make the majority of draft decisions – with Stewart monitoring for personality. The majority of the first 12-15 picks came from Stewarts pre-draft shortlist, giving the experienced GM confidence the franchise will be in safe hands.

The first round pick was a Catcher, 18-year old Jeff Katzman who profiles above average contact and defense with plus power and eye.
