Woah, we made an offer to my former All-Star closer in California Arthur Martinez for 1 year at just $400,000 and he took it. I had him his first 3 years, but he was Reliever of the Year twice for me, a 6-time All-Star in total and still good.
He's 32 and has 211 saves, but in the 5 years since he left the Angels, he's bounced around 4 teams, some of them used him as a starter. But he's going back into the pen for me and once I deal Farmer since he doesn't want to re-sign here and he's a free agent next year, he will close again for me.
