A three-run outburst in the fifth inning was all Red Springs needed to collect its second-straight win over Lumberton.
Steve Bowser drove in a pair, while pitcher
Dave Colvin handcuffed batters most of the night in the Red Robins' 3-1 win over the visiting Auctioneers.
After an 0-4 start to the season, which included three straight defeats to Lumberton, Red Springs is now 17-12 overall, which includes an 11-3 record at home.
Colvin pitched seven solid innings (4 hits allowed, 6Ks) to improve to 1-1.
Juan Hartman earned his seventh save.
Red Springs looks to close out the series tomorrow night, June 27, at 7:05 p.m.
