Jared Walsh homered and doubled while driving in four and scoring three times, as the Jays embarrassed the Cubs, 15-3.

Giancarlo Stanton also homered for Toronto.

Whit Merrifield left the game are after a collision on the basepaths. We await his prognosis.

Bo Bichette was ejected after taking umbrage with Lance Lynn plunking him. (Lynn was also ejected.)
