Aeros finalized a deal this afternoon.
Montreal has traded for 25-year old LHCL
Paul Ide(25, 5*). A 23rd rounder in the 2016 draft, he was just named an EL All-Star for a dominant 4-4 18SV 2.19 51K season, good for 1.2WAR in 30 games.
In return,
Boston will receive 21-year old minor league RHSP
Tristan Johnson(21, 2/2.5*, 3-1 2.33 11K 4GS 0.3WAR A), 20-year old minor league RHRP
Randy Aubuchon(20, 1.5/2*, 0-1 2.70 3.1WAR), and 24-year old minor league RHP
Ed Shaulis(24, 2.5*, 9-3 2.94 79K 3.0WAR 16GS AAA).
In a corresponding move, RHRP
Freddy Silva(26, 3*, 3-1 4.91 34K -0.1WAR 35G) was demoted to AAA Spring Valley.
