Well, I semi-saw the 10th. I averted my eyes when the Mets were at bat, of course, but when the Mets brought in Brazz for the bottom of the stanza, I glanced at the screen and so caught a lovely montage by MLB of [Orioles guy] being all, "it's only one run, so the Birds have a pretty good chance" over a quick-fire edit of the first two Baltimore batters being retired, before we switched back to Gary C as McNeil fielded final grounder and ended things.
Nice recovery from a slow start, including being victims of an immaculate inning. Would have been nicer if Holmes didn't wilt like a fading flower immediately after getting the lead.
Bonus pts to Alex Merillo (the non-Howie radio guy tried to rhyme it with "Carl Furillo", which, no) for neatly demonstrating why, if a man is making his MLB debut at age 28, there's probably A Reason why he hasn't gotten The Call before now.
