2089 ISLANDIAN PRO ALLIANCE MANAGERS OF THE YEAR
The Ruthlandian Union Manager of the Year went to Valmara's Primo Sirak, who paced the Vipers to first place in the RU North. His club improved from 68-86 (7th Place) to first place (93-61). Claxton's Fred Hahn was second. His Diamonds jumped from 7th to first place, going from 67-87 to 89-65 in the RU South. In third place was Malcolm Tansbury of Eastshore. The Cotton Kings moved from 5th (76-78) to first place (92-62) in the RU East. Rounding out the balloting was Forest City's Randy Snow. His Firebirds won the RU West for the second straight season with a 101-53 mark, just slightly less than last season when they posted a remarkable 105-49 record.
The Tycobbian Union Manager of the Year was Pro Cup-winning Jay Murphy, who sparked his club from 4th place (79-75) to a sparking first-place finish (91-63) in the TU East. Oxford's Maury Statler was the runner-up skipper. His Red Caps improved from 4th place (84-70) to first place (101-53) in the RU North. Summerland's Jayson Hallstrom won his second consecutive TU South pennant, but saw a lot of improvement, going from 88-66 to 98-56.
