SF Top Prospects
The Giants have three top 50 prospects at the start of the year with a further top 100 player and five top 200 players. This is beginning to build some depth although the top of the prospect list is still several years away from the Major League team. The youth movement is evident with six opening day rostered players in the top 350 prospects in baseball.
MLB Top Prospects
Baseball fans are excited to see RHP Juan Landa and 3B Nelson Arellano, the number 2 and 4 prospects in baseball, in their rookie seasons although overall the list of top 20 prospects is dominated by lower level players, including the Giants Luis Burgos (#8).
MLB Farm Systems
The Giants take a step back over the offseason but still enter 2053 with the 5th best farm in all of baseball and will hope that their coaches can work their magic over the season to improve the stock of those top, and other, players.
