The St. Louis Cardinals have signed left-handed reliever Alex Vesia to a one-year contract worth $1.8 million.
A year ago, the 31-year-old pitched in 27 games for the Seattle Mariners going 4-0 with a 2.65 ERA.
Vesia broke into the majors with the Marlins in 2020.
Since that season, he has pitched for the Dodgers before joining the Mariners in 2027.
Overall, he has worked in 341 games/one start going 26-15 with 10 saves and a 3.08 ERA.
