Cards news: Dec. 25 -- Relievers Rasiel Iglesias and Adrian Morejon agree to contracts
Looking to bolster their bullpen depth, the St. Louis Cardinals have announced the signing of right-handed pitcher Raisel Iglesias and left-hander Adrian Morejon.
The 37-year-old Iglesias has been in the majors since he broke in in 2015.
Last season, he was with the Red Sox pitching in 52 games going 701 with a 2.66 ERA.
For his career, Iglesias has pitched in 719 games/21 starts and gone 57-60 with 282 saves and a 2.95 ERA.
The 28-year-old Morejan split last season with the Padres and the Brewers.
For the campaign, he worked in 47 games going 2-2 with a 4.60 ERA.
Morejon reached the majors in 2019 with the Padres.
In 248 games/14 starts, he is 14-13 with three saves and a 4.16 ERA.
